" Good, I had such sweet plans for tonight, I thought for a minute, that I would have to cancel them."

Trealeina looked up at him and smiled warmly, "Not this time. I thought for a minute, you were going to cancel them. That was the last thing I wanted." she grinned "you are probably the first to see me dressed like this outside of a dance."

"You wore this especially for me?" he said in mock surprise, giving her a mischievous grin. "Well, I think you would be beautiful no matter what you wore." he said a little more softly and gently squeezed her hand. Trealeina
blushed again. They had finally stopped in front of a guest weyr. He turned to her, "Even your blush is beautiful" he told her as he brought her hand still locked in his, up to kiss it.

She could feel her face flush again. Their eyes locked once more as he lowered their hands from the warmth of his lips. She was once again speechless. "This is the place." he said as he pushed open the door. There
were several candles in the room, and it smelled sweet without being overpowering. He opened the glow baskets in the room.

There was a small glass flower vase, decorated in tiny white flowers, sitting next to the bed. He took the flowers from her hand and placed them in the vase. "Don't' forget to take it with you, I wanted you to have it to remember our evening together."

There was a blanket placed upon the floor, he set the basket in the middle of the blanket, then pushed back one of the lids from the basket, pulling out a bottle of wine, two glasses, some meat rolls, a small bowl of tubers,
and some sweet breads.

Trealeina could not help but smile, as she settled herself on the blanket. Mi'lane handed her a glass and poured a half glass full of the deep red liquid. "I have never tried wine before. My parents always forbade us to have any alcohol. So I have never been interested in trying it." she admitted as she watched him fill his own glass almost to the top.

He gave her a warm smile. "Just take small sips, let it settle a little at a time. You will be fine." He took a drink from his own glass then set it down and moved a little closer to Trealeina. "You are not from a Weyr are you?"
he asked as he lit the candles then closed the glow baskets.

She wrinkled her nose a little. "Is it that obvious?" she asked with a shy grin.

"Well, no, but the thing that gave it away was the fact that your parents didn't allow you to have alcohol." he gave her a sly grin

She felt a little foolish admitting that she had never had alcohol before, so she almost felt the need to explain. "My parents felt that running a farm took all the wits you had about you, so things like that were never allowed.
They don't drink either, not even on special occasions. There is a special fruit cider that my Mom makes for those occasions."

"Just take is slow, and I promise it will bring you no harm. Go ahead take a small sip." he encouraged her gently as he reached over, picked up his glass then took another drink from his own.

She took a small sip as he had said. It was kind of fruity and sweet, with a little bit of a burn when it hit her stomach, but all in all it did tasted good. "I'm not really sure what I expected, but it does taste good." She
started to take another sip but Mi'lane put his hand over it to stop it before it reached her lips.

"Maybe we should eat something before you drink any more. I would like for you to be aware of all of your senses for tonight." He looked into her eyes as he moved still closer to her. He picked up a meat roll and passed it to
her, removed the top from the bowl of tubers and put it tubers between them, then picked up a meat roll for himself. Taking a bite of his meat roll, he looked over at her, watching her every movement. **Shards, but she is
beautiful.**

Trealeina looked up to find that he was already looking at her. She suddenly became a little self conscious. She licked her lips to remove any crumbs that might be there. She smiled as she returned his gaze, allowing herself
to revel in the attention he was giving her. She tore of the end of her meat roll and offered it to his beautiful mouth.

Not letting his gaze leave her face, he opened his mouth slightly to take the offered food. He did the same in turn. As she chewed and swallowed he picked up a spoon and taking a small portion of the tubers he offered her
the bite of tubers. He took a spoonful of tubers for himself. She took another small sip, and tried to avert her eyes so they could finish their meal, but every time she looked up, he was looking at her.

Mi'lane had finished his glass of wine, and Trealeina had finished her half glass, he moved even closer to her. "You caught my eye when I saw you in the dining cavern. I knew I wanted to get to know you then. Now I know I want to know everything about you." He said looking deep into her eyes.

"Everything?" she asked a little surprised, but still enamored by his blue eyes.

"Everything." he said "I know we have just met, but I want to know everything about you. I know that must sound a little silly, coming from a man my age, but I want to know everything."

A little surprised, she looked off toward the opposite wall, then said "OK, well, I have 2 brothers and a 2 sisters, my mother and father and his brothers, their wives and children all live on the farming cothold where I grew up. I have 2 firelizards, that seem to be behaving themselves at the moment, and I am training to become a dragonhealer." she looked up at him again. As close as he was it was hard for her to think much past that.
"Since I am sharing with you, I think in only fair that you tell me about yourself." she gave him a mischievous smile.

"You are quite right, my lovely green rider." He moved the sweet rolls that were now wrapped in a cloth to save for later onto the night stand next to the flower vase. "Well, lets see, my parents are from River Bluff Weyr, my
father was a bronze rider who had a way with women, so I know of at least 3 half brothers, and 1 half sister, though we aren't really all that close, and I have one full brother. I guess my Dad really liked my Mom, because he kept coming back for more." he gave her a sly smirk.

He poured himself another glass, and Trealeina another half glass. "anyway Dad was killed a few years ago during threadfall, and my Mom died from a fever not too long ago. My younger brother is also a brown rider. Wait, you
said you have two firelizards? Can they carry messages?"

"Yeah, I send messages home all the time. Every now and then, one of my brothers firelizards will pop in and drop off a message. Why?" She asked looking at him head cocked a little to the right.

"You could send me messages, let me know how you are doing." He truly meant what he said, and he hoped that she believed him.

Trealeina looked at him, trying to decide if he was being sincere or not, but then decided that right now it did not matter. "Sure, if that is truly what you wish, but you will have to give her a tidbit so she will wait for the response."

Hoping to reassure her, he got up on his knees and took her face in his hands so that she had no choice but to look into his eyes. With every fiber of his body he wished for her to believe him. "I am truly interested in
knowing that you are well and safe. Something about you has captured my heart, and I have only just met you. I have only thought about your beautiful green eyes and your sweet lips since I talked to you this morning.
