Description: Baylaina talks with D'wrayt about taking over the care of his grandchildren.

It was wonderful having some of his sisters back home. Most of his siblings had moved away from the Weyr over the turns, but Baylaina and Datara had returned when Rolarxari had decided to move back to her childhood home. Her daughter was fostermother to Ch'lvias' twins and had a young son of her own, so he didn't want to add to her workload. Baylaina had no children of her own and was more than willing to care for his grandchildren and his unborn child who was due anytime now.
Baylaina was the youngest of his siblings and the one he was the closest to being that he was the baby of the family. His oldest sister had been married and living at her husband's crafthall by the time he was born. He had followed Baylaina everywhere once he was old enough to walk. There was only two turns between them, so she had oftentimes been his playmate when everyone else was too busy to entertain him.
D'wrayt smiled as he sat down beside Baylaina in the dining hall. "Are you settling in allright?" he asked handing her the meatrolls that he had brought.
"Yes, of course. You act like I've never lived here before, brother." she replied with a laugh. It was nice to be home again. She was reconnecting with old friends and ex lovers alike. There was some benefit of being the sister of the Weyrleader apparently.
"You've been gone such a long time and a lot has changed." he said defensively.
"Not that much has changed."
"I wasn't Weyrleader when you left, was I?"
"No, but you weren't even a dragonrider." she countered remembering how sad he had been the day she left to pursue her dreams of living somewhere other than Dragonsfall. She had always intended to return, but had thought that it would be sooner than it had been.
"Have you talked to Rolaxari? I know she was anxious to get home and be able to rest."
"She made it allright according to her letter. The children are so sweet. When does Ayrati visit with them?"
