Description: D'wrayt checks in on his youngest daughter and they talk briefly about her future.
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Date: month 13, day 28 of Turn 3

"A little firelizard told me." he replied not wanting to cause any rifts between his daughters by telling something he wasn't supposed to. Ayrati had known that her sister didn't want to bother him so she had mentioned it when she asked him about dresses for his granddaughters.

"Is that so. I bet it was more like a green dragon's rider." she teased with a smile. She rememembered that she had mentioned it to Ayrati the last time she saw her. Her sisters were always trying to take care of her since they had lost their mother, but she was old enough not to need looking after. A lot of people her age had left home to apprentice or had their own dragons, but she was still considered a child by her family members.

"Aye, but don't be mad at her. If you need something, you can let me know. I'm never too busy to make time with my daughters. You're growing up quite fast, you know. Are you going to stand for the next hatching or have you made a decision about a craft to apprentice to?"

"You know that I want to be a harper if I don't Impress!"

"I was just checking to make sure that it hadn't changed. I would hate to ask about something that you no longer were interested in and seem like I was pushing you in that direction."

}:Hydrazineth's rider is in need of your assistance. She says it's not urgent, but if you'd like please join her for the noon meal.:{ Treadoryth informed his rider.

**Tell her that I'm with Reyina and will be there shortly.**

}:She says that you can both come.:{

**I'll ask.**

"Your sister wants us to join her for the noon meal. Is that allright by you?" he asked as she came back from changing out of her dress.

"Sure. Tell Knara, I'd love to."

"How'd you know it was Knara?"

"She's the only one who would ask us both."

"We've eaten with Ayrati before as a family."

"Yeah, but she eats lunch with her male friends most of the time."

"She does?" he asked surprised. He didn't keep that close an eye on what company his older daughters kept as it was their business not his. If they wanted to share it with him they would otherwise he probably didn't want to know about it.

"Yep, but it's not like you wouldn't notice if you actually took time to eat once in awhile." she replied teasing him about his well known habit to work through the noon meal. Most of those meals were eaten in his office while he caught up on paperwork she was sure.

"I eat. Very well, just ask anyone in the kitchens." he protested.

"The entire _Weyr_ knows how much you like food, da."

"They do not!"

"Yes they do, da!"

"Let's go eat, hatchling." he replied and offered her his arm as they left for the dining hall.
