Description: Kiomo returns from his trip to Quartz River Hol
Location: Garnet Valley Hold
Date: month 13, day 5 of Turn 3
Kiomo knew exactly where Gleniel would be. She'd be still working on
her shift. After dropping off his things in his room he walked down the
corridor towards the kitchens, but instead of going inside, he ducked
down a side hall to wait and see if she might walk by on her way to the
store
rooms. He just wanted to see her for a moment or two, just to sweep her
up in his arms and kiss her sweet lips once, maybe twice, and make plans
to meet that evening to make up for the days they had lost while he was
busy with the Quartz River trip.
Almost half a candlemark had passed before he saw her. She was wearing
her hair down, and the dark green tunic he loved. He grinned in
anticipation. Shards, but it was good to see her. "Glen. Glen!" he
whispered loudly to get her attention.
At first she couldn't believe it. Then a slow smile spread across her
lips, and--after glancing quickly over her shoulder to see if anyone was
watching her--Gleniel darted over to him. "You're home!" she whispered
with a quiet, delighted laugh, throwing her arms around him.
"I just got in," he said quietly, holding her tight. "I've missed you."
"Shards, I've missed you too, Kiomo."
He leaned back just enough to find her lips with a kiss that he thought
would convey more clearly than any words he could have said how much she
had been on his mind. It was brief though, as he was afraid someone
might come along at any moment. "It's good to see you."
She had to admit, she was a little disappointed that the kiss was so
short. Shards! She wished she could just leave her shift. There were
too many girls on duty right now anyway! "I wish I didn't have to stay
here," she mumbled against his neck as she trailed kisses along his
skin. "Then we wouldn't have to cut this so short..."
"Where were you going?" he asked, leaning down to kiss her shoulder
softly.
"Down to the cellar. To start organizing the new wine shipment...or
something..." Sighing, she tilted her head to the side, giving him
better access. "She just wants me out of the way for a while. There're
too
many girls up here right now."
"Then meet me in the cellar in five minutes," his whispered in her ear.
She blinked, her heart giving that familiar, hard bump of excitement.
"Okay."
He brought her close again for one more longing kiss. Finally he pulled
away. "I'll follow you in five minutes." Before anyone could see them
together he started back down the hall.
Gleniel had managed to school her expression fairly well as she wove
down the corridors to the cellar. No one would ever guess that she was
meeting a man...something that she knew she wasn't supposed to be doing
during
her shift. But in her mind, it made the venture more appealing.
No...exciting. Blushing, she slipped inside and found herself wound in
Kiomo's arms.
"Sorry," he whispered as he shut the door behind her. "I couldn't wait
five minutes." One hand slipped into her hair as he leaned in to kiss
her hungrily, his other turning the lock on the door to ensure they
would
not be disturbed.
With a soft moan, she let herself be pushed up against the wall, and
found that the sensation of being caught between hard stone and a hard
body
wasn't a terrible one. Not at all. "And you think I could?" she
breathed once their lips had parted enough for her to actually form
words.
His voice was low and soft, but filled with intensity as he reached down
to pull her hips in line with his. "I can't wait for tonight."
"No?" she asked breathlessly, flushing as she gazed up at him with huge
green eyes.
"No," he whispered huskily before his lips met hers in a hard, almost
demanding kiss.
At first Gleniel submitted to the kiss, letting him lead it and giving
to him exactly what he wanted. Then, as his lips grew bolder, grew more
encouraging, she too grew a little demanding, and trailed her hands down
his back to rest at the belt around his waist, fingers slipping past it
inside. "Won't someone...hear us?" She leaned her head back against
the wall, looking at him with a hazy expression as her sense of caution
drifted further and further away to be replaced by a longing almost as
intense
as his.
Of course it was a possibility, but that little hint of the danger of
being discovered was part of what made it so sharding exciting. His
dark eyes fixed on hers as his hands reached down to inch her skirt up
slowly. "Let them hear us."

"Faranth," Gleniel breathed, face buried in his shoulder as she tried to
catch her breath. That had been so.... Shards. A tremor ran through
her, a small grin curving her lips as her hands tightened slightly on
his back.
"Yeah," Kiomo agreed, still fighting for breath himself. His mind was
too numb to be more eloquent than that. He realized he was still
pressing up against her, squeezing her between himself and the wall. Slowly he
pulled back to look down into her face. "Are you all right? I know
that was a bit... intense."
Swallowing thickly, she nodded. "I'm all right," she murmured, running
a hand through his hair.
"I'm sorry. It... wasn't exactly romantic, was it," he said with a
slight frown. Not romantic, but it sure felt sharding good...
"Well...if your notion of romantic involves a bed and time spent
leisurely between the sheets, then no...it wasn't." Gleniel blushed,
hips shifting a little in his grasp. "But...this wasn't...unpleasant...."
The bruises that would no doubt appear on her back, though, were the
exception, but somehow it didn't matter too much.
He gave her an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, Glen. I should have
waited. I really hadn't _intended_ it to be like... this."
A smile touched her lips. "You missed me. And I missed you. It's all
right, Kiomo..."
"I'll make it up to you. I promise," he said softly, leaning in to give
her a soft, but chaste kiss.
