"Shards, the morning comes too soon," Kiomo murmured against Gleniel's shoulder. His fingers drew lazy circles around her naval as his lips worked their way up to her ear. "I wish I could keep you right here with me, all morning."
"Mmmm..." she shifted sleepily. "Keep on doin' that, Kiomo...and I don't think I'll be able to get up..." Not that that was a _bad_ thing. The last thing she wanted to do right now was to go to work.
"I really should stop. I have to sneak out before anyone sees me in your room." But his fingers and his lips seemed to have a mind of their own.
Smiling, she rolled over in his arms and lifted her lips to his. "No one'll see you..." she whispered, trailing little kisses down his throat.
"Shards but you're convincing." His fingers trailed down her spine and back up along her sides, silently encouraging her to keep doing what she was doing.
Stifling a giggle as his hands hit a rather sensitive spot, she lightly nipped at his neck. "At the moment, I feel like doing lots of convincing...."
Kiomo chuckled low in his throat as he shifted to roll over on top of her.
"Is this the same shy girl who used to blush at even the _thought_ of touching me the way you are now?" He smiled at her knowingly as his lips began at her chin and started to move lower. "Since when did you become the aggressive one, hmmm?"
At that, she _did_ blush. "You call this aggressive?" Gleniel wrapped her arms around him, sighing as his lips moved past her collarbones. Shells....
"Well, not _very_ aggressive, but it seems to me I was the one who had to do at the convincing that first time. I like your trying to convince me."
His lips hovered over a particularly sensitive spot. With a reluctant sigh he rolled off of her. "See, you had me almost convinced. But I really don't want to get you into trouble." He reached over to bring her hand to his lips. "We really should get dressed. There's always tonight to finish what we started, after all."
She brushed her thumb against his lips before slowly sitting up. "True...." Smiling, she stretched languidly before reaching for her brush. She knew he liked to watch her comb it all out, and she never hesitated to indulge him.
"Here, let me help you with that," he smiled as he took the brush from her fingers. "You know I love your hair," he whispered, sweeping it back from her shoulder, kissing her skin lightly before carefully running the brush through it. "It's so soft. Do you have to put it up? I always thought it looked so beautiful down."
"It gets in the way when I work if I leave it down, Kiomo," she murmured, closing her eyes. "And I certainly can't leave it down when I'm preparing food....for obvious reasons."
"You could take a tie with you and tie it up when it got in the way. That's quick and easy to do," he said, running his fingers through her hair just for the feel of it. "Of course, you may be right. I just...
love to see you with your hair down."
She bit her lip. "Well, I suppose you're right... I could put it up when I need to... You don't think me leaving my long hair makes me look too young?"
"I think it makes you look utterly charming and very beautiful," he said, his voice soft and tender. "But you know better than I do what's best."
"No....I think I'll start leaving it down more often. Ooh, careful, Kiomo. That's a knot."
"Sorry," he said apologetically, handing her back the brush. "You'd better get it out while I find my clothes."
She couldn't keep a slightly smug grin from her lips as she watched him walk around the room, retrieving articles of clothing from here and there.
Shards, he had such a beautiful body. And she thought dragonriders were the epitome of graceful...they seemed like clumsy wherries compared to him. And the way his hair was all tousled like that...it was so sharding sexy. And to think _she_ was the one who made it so!
Shaking herself, she continued to run the brush through her hair, but didn't take her eyes off of him. What a lucky woman she was to have him in her bed...
He turned around and saw her staring at him. A small smile played across his lips as he gave her a curious look. "What? What are you thinking?"
Gleniel shook her head, blushing again. "Nothing." She couldn't help the knowing smile she flicked his way though.
He shrugged as he pulled his pants up. "All right. If you say so."
"Well...if you must know... I was admiring you."
"And you think I don't like knowing that you admire me?" he asked as he picked up a sock from the floor.
"Well, no... I didn't say that, did I?"
"Then why didn't you tell me what you were thinking when I asked you?" He gave her a gentle smile to take the sting out of his words. "When I ask you what you are thinking, I really want to know what you are thinking."
What he wanted was so different from the things the other men in her life did. He wanted her to speak her mind when the others had wanted her to speak only what was expected of her; he wanted her to act the way she felt instead of hiding her true emotions away and acting out of propriety. She could get used to Kiomo's way. She _liked_ his way.
Standing, Gleniel set the brush aside and headed for her closet, a smile whispering across her lips. "I won't forget that."
He watched her walk across the room and admired the way she moved, so young and yet beautifully filled out. She wasn't exactly skinny, if he wanted to be honest, but she was round exactly where a woman should be round. Shards but she was beautiful in the morning. "Why don't you wear the green tunic? It really brings out your eyes."
"You think so?" Fingering the material of the blue blouse she'd been thinking of wearing, she turned her head to look at him. "The dark green one?"
Kiomo smiled and nodded. "That one's my favorite. The dark blue one suits you too. I think both those colors suit you well, but my favorite is the green one."
Her expression turned thoughtful when she looked back at the blouses. "Then I'll wear it today," she smiled, taking it off the hanger and holding it up against her, modeling for him.
He admired the way it looked against her. Kiomo liked even better the thought of what lay beyond it. "You know what," he said as he walked over, a rather territorial look in his eyes as he looked at her from bare toes to the top of her head, "I'm thinking I like the idea of being a little late this morning..."
Her heart gave a hard bump. "Really?"
"Mmmhmmm," he hummed as he wrapped his fingers in the tunic and gently pulled the fabric away from her body. Her breathing was noticeably faster, and a knowing smile curved his lips. "And I remember _exactly_
where I left off," he murmured, and proceeded to remind her.
