Description: D'wrayt and Knara try to help Ayrati when she doesn't feel well.
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Date: month 12, day 7 of Turn 3
They had been having fun watching the children splash in the lake when suddenly Ayrati didn't feel so well. She had been feeling unwell, but attributed it to the pregnancy. She sat down hoping that it would go away and smiled weakly at the children when they ran past her.
Knara glanced over at her sister and noticed that she really didn't look very well. She came over to sit beside her. "Are you allright?" she asked remembering the conversation they had earlier in the evening.
"It's allright. I'm feeling a little queasy, but it should pass soon. Normal pregnancy symptoms that's all." she lied as not to alarm her family. She would stop by the infirmary on the way back to her weyr.
}:You are not allright, Ayrati.:{ Kaezioluth interjected worriedly.
**I know, but they're having so much fun.**
}:I'll tell D'wrayt if you don't go to the infirmary.:{ the green replied.
**I'm going to go.**
}:You'd better.:{ Kaezioluth said menancingly before returning to her splashing with the other dragons.
Knara smiled to herself as she recognized the look of dragon talking to rider or vice versa. It had to be a strange thing to encounter for the first time. Growing up in a Weyr made it seem as natural as breathing and walking, but a holdbred or craftbred candidate could find it akward.
Ayrati decided that she would go ahead and go to the infirmary. "Knara, I'm going to go lay down. Tell the children I'll see them later." she said as she carefully got to her feet. The world swam in front of her eyes and suddenly she collapsed onto the sand.
"Da! Ayrait's fainted." Knara cried as she gathered her sister in her arms. She could tell that something wasn't right, but her sister had either not noticed or pretended that everything was fine.
}:D'wrayt! Help my rider.:{ Kaezioluth called franticly stopping her frolicing in the water immediately. She was going to race towards her rider, but Treadoryth told her she would be in the way.
D'wrayt heard both cries and responded instantly. He instructed Treadoryth the calm Kaezioluth down and then assessed the situation. He looked at Knara, "Take the children to your weyr and keep them occupied. I'll take Ayrati to the infirmary." he said as the children noticed that something was going on.
Knara nodded and rounded up the children. She placed Geryn on her hip and took Wulkiryn's hand to lead the children out to the weyrbowl. Hydrazineth followed to take them to their weyr. The ride helped distract the older children from asking about their mother momentarily.
Once the children and Knara were gone, D'wrayt called on the assitance of nearby weyrfolk to get healer assistance to his daughter. He didn't know that she was sick and hoped that it wasn't serious. The healers arrived and he stepped back to let them do their work.
