Kiomo nuzzled her neck gently and leaned up to give her a tender kiss before rolling off her. Wrapping his arms around her, he pulled her close, both of them still breathing hard. He kissed her temple and could taste the salt and feel the sweat under his lips. "Are you all right?" he murmured, resting his cheek against her damp hair. "It only hurts once, Gleniel. I promise."

"I'm...fine...." she whispered in between breaths, pulling herself out of the drifting haze. Gleniel still had her eyes closed, and as she listened to the pounding of her heart, she slowly began to unclench her fists, hardly aware of that small pain compared to the throbbing ache within. Just once... So many of the other girls had told her the same thing. And she desperately wanted to believe them. But, despite the hurt, she _had_
felt something more...something just beyond the piercing ache. Turning her face towards him, Gleniel brushed her nose against his neck. She could feel his pulse. Shards...it felt like it was pounding as hard as hers.

He lifted her hand to his lips and gently kissed each nail mark left in her palm. Tucking her head under his chin he wrapped his arms around her, his leg intertwined with hers. Kiomo felt as though he had been waiting for this moment forever, not just the couple months they had known each other. "You were perfect, Gleniel," he whispered softly, his fingers tracing the line of her spine along her back. "Beautiful and perfect. Now, we just rest a while."

**Beautiful...perfect...** She buried her face into his chest, trying to suppress the sudden tears that welled in her eyes. Tears for _what_, exactly, she could hardly fathom. But she was determined not to cry.
Instead, she concentrated on his heartbeat, counting each time it thrummed against her ear, and each moment it got slower and slower... Gleniel wished she had the breath to whisper something back to him, but she couldn't summon her voice.

Kiomo sighed contentedly as he leaned back into his pillows, feeling so relaxed and lethargic. Shards, he hadn't felt this good in a long time.
Gleniel had been exactly as he thought she would be, a little frightened, a little embarrassed, shy, sweetly unsure, and yet so eager to learn and please. He looked down at her head of thick, wavy red hair and marveled at the way it shone in the light of the glows. **Beautiful and perfect...**

When her own heart had finally slowed, she could feel her emotions slipping back into that acute awareness of the way his body brushed against hers. Hesitantly she trailed a hand against his chest, curiously tracing the muscles she had touched and tasted before. Her fingers followed the line of his abdomen and there she paused, blushing.

He gently lay his hand over hers, silently pushing it along its course.
"It's all right," he said, leaning down to kiss her head. "You should know all of me, like I now know all of you. We're lovers now, Gleniel.
We belong to each other."

Her smile was soft, her eyes trusting when she finally raised them to his. "Yes..." Gleniel couldn't help her blushes, but perhaps with time, she wouldn't be so embarrassed. Taking a deep breath, she let her hand stay where it was, and her other moved to rest beneath her head, unable to look away.

His fingers trailed along her shoulder as he marveled at just how soft her skin was. "What are you thinking?" he asked, gazing deeply into her eyes.

"I'm thinking that I've never felt so...." She couldn't find the word; what she felt was more than relaxed; more than content. But he would know exactly what she meant. "Is this how I'll feel after each time?" The question escaped her before she could consider how young she would sound, and she flushed.

"Pretty much," he nodded. "You're happy, then? No regrets?"

"No," she whispered, coming closer to kiss him on the mouth. "No regrets."

"Good," he whispered against her lips. "I am very happy to hear that.
This is only the beginning for us, Gleniel. There are so many more wonderful things I can share with you."

"Teach me..."
