"Kiomo!" Gleniel smiled, her heart giving a hard little bump as he rounded the hall corner. Carefully she shut the storage room door behind her then turned to face him.
"I got your message." He smiled and leaned down to give her a gentle, but thorough kiss. "You seem excited to see me."
"Just happy," she murmured breathlessly, peeking up at him through her lashes.
"Me too," he assured her and kissed the tip of her nose softly. "Was there something you wanted to talk to me about? Or did you just want to see me?"
Now she turned a little shy. "I just wanted to see you..." If only the girls knew just how close she and Kiomo had become...they'd be so envious!
"Hmmm... I like that reason," he smiled as he pulled her closer. "I just wanted to see you too."
"Did..." Would he think her too forward? "...Maybe we could go somewhere...private?" She flushed, hoping she didn't sharding sound so..._needy_.
"I'd like that," he said, his smile growing a little softer, a little more shy. "I suppose no one is using the Harper Room this time of day. It's nearby." And no one will notice their slipping in at this time of day.
"I'll follow you," she whispered, blushing, her touch suddenly hesitant.
He released her and they walked along in timid silence. Pulling a key ring from his pocket, he gave Glenial a bashful smile before slipping one into the door. After taking a quick look around to be sure they were not seen, he opened the lock and they slipped inside.
"So," he said as he switched on the light. "Here we are..."
Faranth...was it warm in the room? Or was it her? "Yeah..."
"Well, you have me here now," Kiomo murmured as he closed the distance between them. "What do you intend to do with me, Gleniel?"
She glanced up at him, her small grin shy.
"Hmmm," he hummed as he ran a thumb along her lips. "That's a rather pleased smile you have there. You have a plan, don't you."
Shaking her head, she looked down, embarrassed. Shards...to act so wanton! But it was the way he looked at her, touched her....kissed her... She just couldn't stop thinking about it--remembering what it had felt like.
Kiomo's forehead furrowed a bit as he lifted her chin till their eyes met. "Gleniel, I know you asked me if we could be alone somewhere, but I have no expectations of you, if that's what you're worried about. You wanted to be alone, and we are. What we do now that we're here... well, its your choice."
Faranth, his eyes... Slowly she raised a hand, hesitating for just a brief moment before gently brushing her fingers against his smooth cheek. If anyone knew that she, Gleniel, the red-headed girl who swore she'd never be one of those awe-struck, whimsical girls who so desperately wanted to touch and be touched, actually _was_ one...
But it all didn't matter anymore.
Nothing mattered but the way she could make his eyes light up, and the way he could make her feel. Gently her fingers slipped past his ear and into the wealth of black hair, trailing through the strands, then coming up to do it again. Shards, but it was soft. Her embarrassment was momentarily forgotten as she savored the feel of it.
He leaned into her touch. Kiomo's fingers began gently sliding through her soft auburn curls around her face, caressing her jaw with his thumb as he smiled encouragingly and looked deeply into her gentle green eyes.
Blushing, her fingers flitted down his cheek again...but to his lips this time. The nail of her index finger just barely brushed against them, and she was hesitant to take it any further... But, Faranth! She longed for it.
His lips gently kissed her finger. Kiomo loved the look in her eyes. He could read her thoughts as easily as he could see her pulse racing on her neck, or hear her breath as it quickened. This Gleniel was new and exciting, but he would not push her. The choice was hers.
She leaned forward fractionally, then hesitated again, peeking at him through her lashes. But his expression was softly encouraging--he _wanted_ her to initiate it. It was okay...and he wasn't condemning her for it. Not at all. Grasping on to her courage she closed the small bit of distance between them and brushed her lips gently, carefully, against his.
He rewarded her for her boldness with a gentle kiss his return, his arms wrapping around her waist, pulling her close and loving the feel of her in his arms.
Feeling more confident as she felt him shift against her, she kissed him again, this time her lips lingered over his longer, her fingers flexing against his shoulders--silently asking for a little more.
Kiomo was more than happy to provide it. His hand unconsciously ran up and down her back as he kissed her deeply, feeling his heart starting to pound harder in his chest. He was sure it was having the same effect on hers.
And it was. Shards and shells... And this was no chaste symbol of anything innocent...no. Not anymore. It was heading beyond that now, swifter with each passing moment. A part of her whispered words of caution, but the other part of her delighted in the way he was making her feel. Not even her girlhood love had made her feel like _this_.
He could feel her slight hesitation, and yet he could feel her also pulling him down to her, searching for something more. Kiomo was all too aware of just how alone in that room they were as his fingers slipped into her hair. His lips lefts hers to kiss her chin, her throat, her collar bone and his blood began to race. He kissed her neck once more, right over her pulse and he could feel it beating hard under his lips. She gasped--a light, breathy sound. Gleniel pulled away just a little to look at him, to study his face, to search his eyes. She wondered, as her fingers tightened slightly on his shirt, if he was feeling like she was. Was his heart pounding too?
His quick heavy breaths betrayed the fast-paced beating in his chest as he looked deeply into her gaze. Kiomo suspected she knew they were in danger of going to far, if they hadn't already. How much further did they dare go? He leaned in to kiss her softly, questioningly.
Trying to will her heart to stop pounding so fast...so _loudly_...she returned his kiss just as softly. They'd gone far--farther than Gleniel had intended. But she found that she didn't regret it.
Kiomo wasn't sure how long they stood their, their lips barely brushing, but he could feel the intense fire in his veins die down to a pleasant warmth that filled him. Finally, he pulled back a bit. "Perhaps... we should leave here," he whispered, his eyes meeting hers briefly, but long enough for her to see the finished thought in his eyes - **Before we go too far...**
"Yes..." she whispered back, flushing. Should she have pulled back first? Her hands slowly slid from him, but her fingers gently brushed against his, seeking some kind of reassurance.
He grasped her hands in his. Kiomo brought them up to his lips and kissed one and then the other. "All right," he sighed, tucking one of her hands in the crook of his elbow. "We'd better go before someone wonders where we are."
