Description: Go spend some time at the beach
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Date: month 11, day 6 of Turn 7
R'axe had been looking forward to the next Rest Day ever since he and
J'kri had made plans to go to the beach. Unlike some of the other
inhabitants of Dragonsfall, R'axe didn't really mind the cold weather
all that much, in fact he kind of liked it, but he did miss the sun
and sand, and he certainly missed the chance to shed some clothing.
Shedding his clothing with his favorite bluerider was also a major
plus for the day.
}:They are waiting in the Weyrbowl.:{ Jayth informed his rider as
R'axe shoved a blanket under one leather strap. J'kri had been in
charge of bringing drinks and snacks.
Vaulting with ease onto Jayth's neckridge, R'axe rode the blue down to
the Weyrbowl where he waved at J'kri, "Jayth is sending the
coordinates! See you there!"
Jayth launched into the skies while sending the visual image of the
beach they would be visiting to the younger blue.
In a moment they were /between/ and a few breaths later they came out
of the cold darkness to a beautiful warm beach. **I love having a
dragon,** J'kri thought.
}:Of course you do.:{ Rademerth circled down and landed beside Jayth.
He liked the older blue, though he would have preferred a pretty
green.
J'kri slid off his dragon's neck, spread his arms and tilted his head
to the sky. "Ahhh, that's more like it." He'd started to get used to
the cold at Dragonsfall, but the power outage had been too much. He
wished he could spend the next few sevendays on the beach. Especially
with such good company.
R'axe smiled at his companion as the older bluerider slid to the
ground and began stripping out of his clothing, "Nice isn't it?" It
was the perfect day, the weather was beautiful on the beach and he was
with an excellent companion.
J'kri laughed and started pulling off his clothes. "Are we getting
into the water or each other first?"
The older bluerider turned appreciative eyes on J'kri's youthful form,
"I don't see why we can't do both." R'axe shot J'kri a winning grin as
he strode down toward the water.
It took J'kri a second to catch his meaning. When he did, he kicked
off the rest of his clothes and hurried after R'axe. Coming up beside
him, J'kri gave R'axe a playful smack on the behind.
R'axe found himself laughing as they hit the water at full speed.
Snagging J'kri around the waist with his arm, R'axe pulled the younger
man flush against him and then tugged him down beneath the water,
dunking them both beneath the crystal clear waves. Why couldn't
everyone be as fun as J'kri? R'axe wondered.
J'kri spluttered as they came back up. As soon as he had his breath
back, he buried a hand in R'axe's hair and leaned in to kiss him. The
man's lips tasted salty from the water.
Things went from playful to passionate in the blink of an eye. R'axe
hungrily returned the younger man's kiss, his arms tightening about
J'kri's waist as the ocean water ebbed around them. J'kri tasted like
salt and sun, R'axe's favorite combination.
J'kri tugged him a little closer to the shore to make sure they
weren't going to get swamped by a wave. "I have so many ideas about
what to do with you, I don't know where to start." He still felt that
giddy flip in his stomach whenever he was with R'axe.
R'axe's body thrummed with pleasure, "We've got all day, let's just
start at the top and work our way down." His voice was raspy with
desire as his hands traveled down the younger man's back.
Kissing his way up R'axe's neck to his ear, J'kri whispered, "What's
at the top?"
"I don't know," he grinned, a shiver running down his spine, "you are
the one with a list of things you'd like to do to me. I think you'll
find I'm quite the willing captive."
J'kri's reaction was immediate and obvious. He pressed against R'axe,
one hand sliding down to squeeze the man's bottom. Then he shifted
away with a wicked grin. There was one thing in particular he'd been
thinking about for days. "I want you on your back."
R'axe's cobalt eyes practically glowed with desire. There weren't many
men that R'axe would allow _that_ priviledge, after all, R'axe liked
being in charge and dominant, he was good at it. "Come on then." His
voice was rough as he snatched the younger man's hand and towed them
toward the shoreline.
With every step J'kri's heart pounded, anticipation coiling into a
tension that made it hard to breathe. As soon as they were past the
line of the surf, J'kri kissed R'axe hard and pulled him down onto the
sand. And the sand was _everywhere_. "Ah, shards! A blanket. I
should've thought..."
The older bluerider flashed a toothy grin at J'kri, "Don't worry, I
thought of it." R'axe hadn't come unprepared. He retrieved the blanket
he'd stashed under one of Jayth's riding straps before leaving the
Weyr. "I had this feeling we would be in need of a blanket." R'axe
winked as he spread the the quilted blanket on the ground which was
made up of a patchwork of various shades of blue cloth. Sprawling onto
the blanket, R'axe rolled on to his back and looked up at J'kri. "Now,
I believe this is how you wanted me, hm?"
He looked so sexy lying there waiting for him. J'kri bent over him,
eyes darkening as arousal came back full force. "Yes." He bent to kiss
him. Warm. Everything was so warm -- the sun, R'axe, J'kri's own body.
J'kri shifted to nip and kiss his way along the other man's neck and
shoulder.
R'axe's heart hammered in his chest, as a tingle of anticipation raced
down to the pit of his stomach. The bluerider ran his hands over
J'kri's body which was still slick with water droplets from the ocean.
**We have all day,** J'kri reminded himself. This was a special treat
and he should savor every moment of it. He slid a hand up the inside
of R'axe's thigh. "I'm going to take you slow, so you feel
_everything_."
"Promises, promises." R'axe breathed, not the least bit embarrassed by
the wantonness in his voice.
It took a considerable amount of willpower, but J'kri drew out their
lovemaking just as he'd said. The young bluerider reached his pleasure
with R'axe's name on his lips and ended up sprawled on top of him,
trying to regain his breath.
R'axe's chest rose and fell rapidly as he fought to regain control of
his breathing. Wrapping his arms around J'kri, a pleased smile crossed
his face as he murmured, "Shards, but I do love you J'kri."
The younger rider's eyebrow arched and he leaned up so he could meet
R'axe's gaze. "Really?"
"Yeah, really." R'axe said meeting the younger man's eyes. There was
probably no one else at Dragonsfall that he would rather spend time
with than J'kri.
It made J'kri's heart swell and a smile spread across his face. He
gave R'axe a long, slow, sweet kiss. "We should get to some shade
before I start looking like a boiled spiderclaw." It might be too
late. He could already feel the itchy sting if sunscorching across his
whole back. **Worth it, though.**
The other bluerider laughed, "You're right. I forget that I might
actually get sunburned now." Even though he'd been at Dragonsfall long
enough to know better, having grown up in the sun and in a warmer
location sometimes made R'axe forget that his skin was no longer tan
the way it had been back then. "I'm going to take a dip in the water
to get cleaned off." Although they had laid on the blanket sand had
still managed to work its way to where they were.
"Good idea. I'll just make mine a really quick rinse." J'kri scratched
at his back and felt a sting. Without looking, he knew it was red. Ah,
well. If anyone asked about it, he had a good story. J'kri smiled as
he followed R'axe down to the water.
