It's that time again and our brand spanking new issue of the newsletter is
here for you!
Here, we post the monthly summaries of plots and posts in all of our active
areas, as well as give info regarding member birthdays, persona birthdays
and open ranker positions. If anyone has suggestions for improvements or
has any questions or requests regarding content, then please be sure to
email me at nici@triadweyrs.org.

WEYR NEWS & HAPPENINGS:

** RBW News **
Soliera visted Gaiya to see how the young fostermother was coping with the
children she was looking after.Gaiya also managed to run into Tsaera late
one night, or ealry one morning sepending on how you look at it, in the
kitchens. Soliera also found time to drop in on the Weyrleader, where they
discussed family and friends.
Weyrlingmaster J'an discussed preparations for the first flights by the
current weyrling class with members of his staff, including A'ronic and
Farine. The following day, those flights took place. Shayla in particular
did well and seemed to enjoy the experience. Another of the weyrlings,
Kinear found time to visit her friend S'ber. Shayla and Oricahna found time
to discuss dragoncare whilst feeding their dragonets.
The senior weyrling class has now graduated and been placed in wings after
discussions were held by J'an, K'sedel and Tsaera. Congratulations to all
on their promotions. Nocte and An'dr have joined the Weyrlingstaff, S'ber
and Nytha have joined Torrent Wing, and Sereenia has gone to Rapids Wing.
Shayla also found time to visit U'val, the two discussed the mysterious
disappearance of Tiya, Abrei's young healer apprentice. U'val also had a
visit from an old friend, R'haran of Dragonsfall Weyr.
Speaking of Abrei, her knee injury has finally healed, she wasted no time
in finding R'han and celebrating that fact with him.
The Weywoman's second, Lenala has wasted no time at all in getting to know
the riders of the Weyr. She was able to convince L'keri to help her shift
some furniture from the stores to her weyr. She also met up with L'maret,
who only succeeded in embarrasing himself.
It seems that Wingsecond K'reyel's elder daughter migh have hidden talents
in music. Harper Kitali has suggested that she perhaps receive some extra
music lessons.
K'sedel and L'maret discussed drills and the reason for them briefly. The
younger rider felt a little embarrased to get some attention from the
Weyrleader. L'maret also met up with the Weyrwoman briefly, and they
discussed family.
New arrival Syntara has wasted no time in getting to know people. She met
up with Ar'lis and flirted with him over a perios of a few days. The two
were all set to take the next step in their relationship, when Gaiya (who
has a secret crush on Ar'lis) arrived.
Last but not least, Green Ellianith, ridden by Ciara rose. She was chased
by M'van's Kiloth, K'reyel's Erdenth, L'maret's Astranith, V'rikah's
Fiseyth and K'sedel's Nikornath. After leading them a merry chase,
Nikornath emerged the victor.
River Bluff has seen lots of action this month, and there is more to come.
Now would be an ideal time to create or adopt a persona here.

** DFW News **
The Weyr will have eggs on the Sands soon as Calyth recently rose to mate.
The bronzes of D'wrayt, D'brek and U'kaiah were among the top competitors
in the race for the Gold and in turn the Weyrleadership. Much to the relief
of the current Weyrleader, Treadoryth was the victor reaffirming D'wrayt's
leadership until the next time Calyth rises.
J'klin and Arilanna take a trip to the beach after he searches her out and
convinces her to go with him.
Demalia is grounded and laid up in bed for a sevenday after injuring her
ankle when she slipped while working with the weyrlings. Master Optham
kindly treated it for her.
U'val stops to visit with U'kaiah and thank him for letting Jiyavala spend
whatever time her daughter had left with her.
Harki throws a dragonpoker party and U'kaiah offers to play host. While
they were playing, Jaela stops by to show the bronzerider the restored hide
he had found about Topaz Sea Hold. Sarian, Harki and X'reep said some
things that they wouldn't have said if they'd known who was at the door and
weren't drunk at the time.
Sarian goes by to see U'kaiah and kind of apologizes for the incident the
night before with Jaela during the poker game. He wasn't in the mood for
what she had in mind, so she left him to take the nap he wanted.
Harki finds U'kaiah to ask if he would find her underthings that she left
at his weyr. He tells her to come over the next night. When she does stop
by to get them, the bronzerider finds them at the bottom of his
bathingpool. They end up in the bathingpool together.
Jaela and U'kaiah fight about the kind of friends he keeps when he comes to
see how the hide turned out. They flirt a bit after a meeting and the peace
is restored. Eventually he stops back by her office to see the hide.

** DCW News **
Gossip is flying around Dolphin Cove about O'dan and his tendency to party
a little too enthusiasticly. K'nure claims to have woken up with Terissa
and the Weyrleader in bed with him--and has described O'dan in some detail.
O'dan may not have any comment on the matter of blueriders, but Terissa has
been seen around his weyr, so maybe the rumours might be true.
T'moran has been officially put in charge of the Weyrlings, relieving him
of his Wing. O'dan also made it clear to T'moran that he wasn't going to be
accepting any disrespect to Kalina. K'deren did his best to console T'moran
with a bottle of wine, but it can be assumed that T'moran isn't fond of the
new Weyrleader.
A'se has been getting to know the folk of the Weyr, not only getting to
know Oria a bit better, but taking a moment to flirt with D'cal. D'cal has
also been spending time with his friend D'ren--it seems that being
weyrlings together gives them a good opportunity to keep up their
friendship. I'lan and A'drien also had a chat on the beach.

** ACH News **
Uh-oh! There's trouble this month at Amethyst Cliff Hold! But then, when
isn't there? The latest in a long string of misfortunes is the untimely
kidnapping of Anaia and Enrizial's children while the members of the Hold
were availing themselves at the party at the Vinter Hall. The kidnappers
drugged the nurse to sleep and snuck past her, escaping from the Hold under
disguise. Enrizial is less than pleased with this newest devlopment, as can
be imagined, and has been visiting to comfort his wife.
With guards spreading out across the Hold in search of the kidnappers, it's
only a matter of time until they're caught. The only question is why two
sweet seeming young girls were desperate enough to make off with the
children of a Lord Holder.

** ACH-VH News **
More gossip has surfaced from the Vinter Hall's exciting party. Jio spent
some time with Miryene, and seems quite fond of her. She, unfortunatly, has
eyes only for Jhonnel. After spending some time with Cinale and Jio,
Miryene found Jhonnel. Unfortunatly, both had a little too much to
drink--and Miryene went back to Jhonnel's quarters with him, where things
happened that shouldn't have.
Along with spending time at the party with Cinale and Miryene, Jio found
time to talk with Mariss and meet her father, Cyrek. He also spent some
time on his quest to find a healer, meeting Dikero, the new healer at
Amethyst Cliff. Although Dikero can't transfer to the Vinter Hall, he
showed an interest in spending some of his free time studying Jio's work.
After the party, Jhonnel came to Fielton feeling guilty and confessed that
he'd dishonored Miryene. Furious with both of them, Fielton issued them an
ultimatum--they can get married or leave the Hall. They decide to get
married.
Later in the month, Fieayz's gold flit rose, to be caught by Jio's brown.
There will be firelizard eggs at the Vinter Hall, to be distributed as
Fielton sees fit, even if his daughter doesn't realize it yet.

** EFH News **
Lord Enrizial has been at Emerald Falls very little in the first few days
of month 5 after the kidnapping of his two young daughters at Amethyst
Cliff. The events have only worsened the rift between himself and Lord
Alalir's family, and heated words were exchanged - but in adversity he and
his wife, Lady Anaia, seem to be growing closer together. Perhaps this will
be the last month that Emerald Falls is without its Lady Holder.
The marriage of Holder Fyzone to a young girl, Tiya, who had been brought
back from the Weyr under the threat of her family being made holdless, was
found to be illegal since Tiya is only fourteen Turns old. Her brother
informed Lord Enrizial that their father Otone had altered Records to
conceal her true age - and to cheat the Hold out of its lawful tithes.
Enrizial immediately ended the marriage and arrested Otone for forgery, but
Fyzone claimed to be unaware of Tiya's age and escaped without punishment.
Otone's trial will be held later in the month, his hold being left in the
care of his son in the meantime.
New residents Kiyan and Fayne talked of their plans for the Hold - he to
establish a new vineyard in order that Emerald Falls should not depend on
Amethyst Cliff for its wine, and she to restore the Hold from its current
state of disrepair in the absence of the Lady Holder. Fayne later asked
Master Miranek for his advice as to why she and Kiyan have never had any
children, but he has no answer for her as yet.
Unrest is growing in Emerald Falls as the traditionalist holders grumble
about the summary arrest of one of their number, the lack of trade with
Amethyst Cliff, and the rumours of a young woman learning far more than she
ought at the Harper Hall. Lord Enrizial is still without a son and heir,
and his grip on the Hold is once again growing tenuous. Many look back to
the short time when Enrizial's half-brother Cazriel ruled with regret, and
wonder if Cazriel's achievement could be repeated...
We have some exciting plots planned for the holders and craftsmen of
Emerald Falls, and new personas will be welcomed with enthusiasm!

** GVH News **
Now that Sirela is past her pregnancy, she has some extra dresses she made
for herself. After doing her best to make them a little fancier, she
brought them to Thalia as a gift. Thalia was pleased, and asked Sirela to
come back later and bring her daughter with her.
Thalia also spent some time with Carlan, and borrowed some strings for her
guitar.
The Hold's Headwoman is quite a terrifying lady. After realizing that
Ryalane and Auren both suspected her of betraying the Hold, she has come up
with a plan to eliminate both of them. Taking her example from Jerandra,
Verora plans to poison Ryalane, Briton and Auren... and then take care of
Thalia and her child. After that, Aswic will be hers.

** GVH-SH News **
Much of the same is happening this month at the Smithhall. Daynar continues
to track down who the thief might be that is plaguing his Hall, and as a
result has been even more of a terror to his students. Many quaked when he
was angry already, but now the entire Hall was stepping lightly.
His disowned son tried to visit again, and actually did manage to see his
mother.
The shouting when Daynar found that out was heard clear across the Hall.
There are rumors that Fielton, the Vintner Hallmaster, and Daynar himself
are cooking up something, as they two have been visiting more than usual
since the Vintner Hall party last month.
Make a character! Someone adopt Daynar's son! Please!

Along with spending time at the party with Cinale and Miryene, Jio found
time to talk with Mariss and meet her father, Cyrek. He also spent some
time on his quest to find a healer, meeting Dikero, the new healer at
Amethyst Cliff. Although Dikero can't transfer to the Vinter Hall, he
showed an interest in spending some of his free time studying Jio's work.
After the party, Jhonnel came to Fielton feeling guilty and confessed that
he'd dishonored Miryene. Furious with both of them, Fielton issued them an
ultimatum--they can get married or leave the Hall. They decide to get
married.
Later in the month, Fieayz's gold flit rose, to be caught by Jio's brown.
There will be firelizard eggs at the Vinter Hall, to be distributed as
Fielton sees fit, even if his daughter doesn't realize it yet.

** EFH News **
Lord Enrizial has been at Emerald Falls very little in the first few days
of month 5 after the kidnapping of his two young daughters at Amethyst
Cliff. The events have only worsened the rift between himself and Lord
Alalir's family, and heated words were exchanged - but in adversity he and
his wife, Lady Anaia, seem to be growing closer together. Perhaps this will
be the last month that Emerald Falls is without its Lady Holder.
The marriage of Holder Fyzone to a young girl, Tiya, who had been brought
back from the Weyr under the threat of her family being made holdless, was
found to be illegal since Tiya is only fourteen Turns old. Her brother
informed Lord Enrizial that their father Otone had altered Records to
conceal her true age - and to cheat the Hold out of its lawful tithes.
Enrizial immediately ended the marriage and arrested Otone for forgery, but
Fyzone claimed to be unaware of Tiya's age and escaped without punishment.
Otone's trial will be held later in the month, his hold being left in the
care of his son in the meantime.
New residents Kiyan and Fayne talked of their plans for the Hold - he to
establish a new vineyard in order that Emerald Falls should not depend on
Amethyst Cliff for its wine, and she to restore the Hold from its current
state of disrepair in the absence of the Lady Holder. Fayne later asked
Master Miranek for his advice as to why she and Kiyan have never had any
children, but he has no answer for her as yet.
Unrest is growing in Emerald Falls as the traditionalist holders grumble
about the summary arrest of one of their number, the lack of trade with
Amethyst Cliff, and the rumours of a young woman learning far more than she
ought at the Harper Hall. Lord Enrizial is still without a son and heir,
and his grip on the Hold is once again growing tenuous. Many look back to
the short time when Enrizial's half-brother Cazriel ruled with regret, and
wonder if Cazriel's achievement could be repeated...
We have some exciting plots planned for the holders and craftsmen of
Emerald Falls, and new personas will be welcomed with enthusiasm!

** GVH News **
Now that Sirela is past her pregnancy, she has some extra dresses she made
for herself. After doing her best to make them a little fancier, she
brought them to Thalia as a gift. Thalia was pleased, and asked Sirela to
come back later and bring her daughter with her.
Thalia also spent some time with Carlan, and borrowed some strings for her
guitar.
The Hold's Headwoman is quite a terrifying lady. After realizing that
Ryalane and Auren both suspected her of betraying the Hold, she has come up
with a plan to eliminate both of them. Taking her example from Jerandra,
Verora plans to poison Ryalane, Briton and Auren... and then take care of
Thalia and her child. After that, Aswic will be hers.

** GVH-SH News **
Much of the same is happening this month at the Smithhall. Daynar continues
to track down who the thief might be that is plaguing his Hall, and as a
result has been even more of a terror to his students. Many quaked when he
was angry already, but now the entire Hall was stepping lightly.
His disowned son tried to visit again, and actually did manage to see his
mother.
The shouting when Daynar found that out was heard clear across the Hall.
There are rumors that Fielton, the Vintner Hallmaster, and Daynar himself
are cooking up something, as they two have been visiting more than usual
since the Vintner Hall party last month.
Make a character! Someone adopt Daynar's son! Please!
