Persona Profile: N'tur

Writer: Jenah

Name: N'tur
Age: 19
Birthday: m5 d8
Rank: Wingrider, Sienna Wing
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Craft: Dragonhealer
Craft Rank: Junior Apprentice

Physical Description of Persona:
N'tur is dark of hair and eye, with a smooth complexion and his mother's aquiline features. He is somewhat short for his age, and still a little chubby with baby fat. He is strong, though; being a beasthealer's apprentice has seen to that, and the muscles beneath their protective layer are hard.

Emotional Description of Persona:
At seventeen Turns, N'tur has a gentle voice and a steady hand, something that in the past came in handy in his management of runners and younger siblings alike. Now a dragonhealer apprentice and brown wingrider, he is a quiet yet friendly young man with a high thresh-hold for anger. His mother refers to him as "mild of temper and sound of mind." He is quick to learn but utterly lacks a sense of competitiveness; he has no ambition to best anyone, and therefore does not truly excel in either his studies or among his friends. This may have been a contributing factor in his Impression-- his lifemate, a smaller dragon named Graileth, is the epitome of the steady, helpful brown. His personality is perfectly suited for his new rank.

History of Persona:
Natur was born in the Weyr, the child of a Journeyman Woodsmith and a holder's daughter who had taken up duties as a foster mother. He is the oldest of five siblings natural, the youngest of which was born just prior to his father's passing when he was 12 Turns, as well as countless foster brothers and sisters. He took his father's death in stride. Life at the Weyr prepared children for such a life, and Natur began his apprenticeship with the beastcraft only months after.

Natur felt inclined towards the beasthealer craft from a young age. This probably had something to do with his mother's flits; she had two, and Natur was fascinated with them. Since then, his inclination towards the firelizards has grown to extend to weyrs and even their older cousins, the dragons. He was approached by the Weyrdragonhealer and, after much paperwork, his apprenticeship was transferred from beastcrafting to dragonhealing while still a Candidate. Natur hoped to advance once he Impressed.

And Impress he did. On the 25th day of the second month, in the seventh Turn of the tenth Pass, young Natur became N'tur, lifemate to brown Graileth. Although this clutch was his first to Stand, he joined the other white-robed Candidates as they were joyously united to their partners. He finally has someone that loves him and him alone- not just as the oldest in a large brood or an apprentice among many peers, but as a true friend, confidante, partner. Now that he has Graileth, he is whole.

Dragon's Name: Graileth
Dragon's Age: 3
Dragon's Colour: Brown
Description of Dragon:
Lanky of frame and dark of hide, Graileth is not an imposing dragon. Though he stands about the same at the shoulder as his brown counterparts of similar age, his mass is noticebly less than average. His coloring makes him look even smaller-- he is not a rich brown, but rather a grayish toupe color, with little variation throughout.

Despite his diminutive size, Graileth is not lacking in personality or talent. Steady and true, he is dedicated to his job and loyal to his rider. He is curious and often asks questions. His memory is above average.
