Name: Nytha
Age: 26
Birthday: m7 d24
Rank: Wingrider, Cobalt Wing
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Craft: Printer
Craft Rank: Junior Journeyman
Speciality: Typesetter

Physical Description of Persona:
Nytha is a hair's breadth over 5' 7", weighing about 140lbs. She has mousy brown hair, which falls in waves half way down her back, and is usually kept in a pony tail, or tied back in some way. This frames a rather square face, with brown eyes and pale, but freckled skin. More freckles tend to appear over summer, with exposure to the sun. Sometimes she will burn, if she forgets to wear a hat or cover up.

She has a ready smile, which is the thing most people tend to remember about her as she cannot be called pretty in any conventional sense of the word.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Nytha has been brought up to respect logic and order, as befits the daughter of two Master Printers. She is methodical and prefers to get things right the first time.

As a child she had a bad temper, something she is even now struggling to keep under control, as it has caused her problems in the past. Being brought up in the north and having only recently moved to the south her major flash point is now how she feels women are treated in the south.

She wants to do something with her life, hence training under her parents as a printer, and when the chance came to possibly impress, she decided not to pass it up.

History of Persona:
Nytha is the eldest daughter of Kanydrin and Thanja, both of whom are Master Printers. She was born 19 turns ago at the Northern Printer Hall and has 3 younger brothers.

All the way through her harper led classes she showed a streak of perfectionism, which led her to be apprencticed to the Printer craft at age 12 following in the footsteps of her parents, as have two of her younger brothers, the third still being in harper classes.

Recently, her father was offered a position down at the Printer Hall close to Topaz Sea Hold. After much discussion with her and her mother, for stories of the northern attitudes had filtered through to them they decided to take it. Once they heard that female crafters were allowed in that particular hall they decided to go for it.

They held off the move for a few months though, to allow Nytha to complete her project which would allow her to walk the tables as a Journeywoman, the first of her class to do so.

The ship on which they were travelling, had a brief stop over at Jade Harbour Hold, to drop off some equipment for the Technician Hall there. During that time a bluerider overflew the harbour, where the family had disembarked briefly to stretch their legs. His blue was very interested in Nytha, so he introduced himself to her parents and she was told that she could possibly be a candidate at the next hatching at River Bluff Weyr.

Her parents allowed her to make the decision, stressing that should things not work out, she would always be welcome with them at the Printer Hall. Decision made, she chose to go with the rider and arrived at the weyr soon after.
