Posting Challenge Prompt #4: Work

The theme for this week is Work! Your character has a job that they do. Tell us about a day at work. Maybe it's a boring, routine day, with plenty of time to sit and consider why they love or hate their job. Or maybe it's a stressful day for them, with a crisis cropping up, or a task they hate. We have a lot of characters with a lot of different jobs, so I'm excited to see what you all come up with for this one.

Post in this thread with the title of your post once you've made it. At the end of the week (so Monday, August 15), I'll post a recap with links to all the posts on the site and who wrote them.
